Incompatible birth dates
Sources disagree: July 3, 1899 (The Fine Art Archive Db; SNAC; Munzinger Personen; Integrated Authority File; BnF authorities; Proleksis Encyclopedia; Brockhaus Enzyklopädie) or in 1889 (Catalog of the German National Library).
The main date retains its own sources. These alternatives overlap neither all other statements nor the main date. Rank is Wikidata editorial priority, not proof.
